20. When Im really tired but fighting off sleep my brain makes up the most ridiculous things.

sometimes it is a mash up of all the music I heard on the radio that day.

sometimes it is this big elaborate speach or presentation I have to give but never will in its’ full glory because Im terrified of public speaking. 

sometimes it is this grand adventure I wish I could go on but never will for one reason or another. 

sometimes it is just a simple dream of a life that seems so unattainable it scares me to even hope for it during normal waking hours. 

always it is the one place you can find my brain in its most honest, scared, fearful state. 

life lesson folks, if you ever want to pick my brain, become a mind reader and wait for me to be almost asleep. You will find out more than you ever wanted to know. 

Tonight though. It’s just an annoying mashup with the same two lines repeating over and over to different melodies that make no sense. Im pretty sure the lines are from different songs too, because they make no sense. 

19. Do. not. hover. behind. me. while. I. am. on. the. computer.

My internet perusing and whatever else I have pulled up on my computer, is none of your fuckin business. 

none. nada. zip. zilch. zero. 

NONE.

18. Nothing irks me more than people who think they are professional photographers just because the own a camera.

Just because you own a dSLR and know how to use the auto-selective focus mode and can oversaturate/antique color balance an image does not make you a professional photographer. You have no right to charge people money for mediocre, incorrectly colored images. You are diluting and ruining the market for actual professional photographers who are putting time, money, and knowledge into images that people think were super easy to create. ITS NOT AS EASY OR CHEEP AS IT LOOKS GODDAMNIT. 

Now yes, true professional work does stand above and even the average Joe can tell. They may not know why its better, but they do know it is. But ignorant wannabes who parade around  pretending are just making it harder to find a real, honest to god, actual photographer and demeaning their work to something that should be cheep; “all it is, is a click of a button!” No it fucken isnt people. 

Oh and dont even get me started, on the over smoothed, over evened skin that resembles a plastic face from idiots who have no idea how to use photoshop. 

Moral of my rant. Dont do something you dont know how to do. Wanna pursue a hobby? fine. But back the hell off my career.

17. I get weird injuries.

Examples you ask?

• I have a bruise on the top of my foot smack dab in the center. 
• I have scratched up my arm from velcro.
• My first ever scar was from a cut from a snow globe.
• I have a scar on my knee from the side of a pool.
• I scratched my eye the other day. Like the eye ball. Its icky. Not sure how that one happened.

just some of the super weirdness that happens to me.  

16. I either share everything, or I share nothing.

blah. I pity the people who have to hear everything, and dont mind when people hate because I tell them nothing. It protects them from so much. 

15. Ive always prided my self on being honest and up front with people.

I often come across as a bitch because of this. I refuse to pacify people just so they dont get mad at me. Im not one for placating. At all. I got two comments about this today. 

(Talking to me) Jessica, Im really glad you like me. I can only imagine what you would say to me if you didn’t. Judging by what you say to some of these idiots. 

(Talking to my roommate) I wish I was more like Jessica. Damn that girl has balls. She doesn’t take shit and makes sure people know when they are fuck ups. 

I own the fact that I can be a bitch but sometimes its interesting to hear actual comments on my life besides “god jessica why are you such a bitch!” Its like receiving an actual critique in class not bullshit. 

14. If Im around my phone or on the computer I answer emails like its going out of style.

I think it freaks people out sometimes when they get a response from me almost instantaneously. 

And it therefore aggravates me when I have to wait to long for a response.

13. I dont watch TV and Movies for a reason.

They bore me. Especially the 2nd chick flick of the day.

blahhhh Im not a normal girl. whyy am I so weird.

12.Don’t make plans to work with me on homework and then bail without telling me. It erks me.

11. I procrastinate so I focus when I actually do my work.

Its really messed up logic. But I purposefully put things off so that when I go to actually complete them, I know I only have so much time and therefore just sit down and do it. Where as if I try and do a paper in advance or edit pictures in advance I do a bit then get on facebook or tumblr then go back. And this vicious cycle lasts days on end with nothing really getting accomplished and much erasing done because I forget where I am and what Im doing. 

Weird logic but it has worked for me for 20 years. I plan on continuing with it. 

10. I get really bad migraines.

I hadnt had one in a long time until today.

9. Number one thing to make me freak out, the disappearance of my planner.

I just about lost my shit.

8. When I get stressed, I spiral fast.

Time to curl up in a ball on my mothers couch and have her play with my hair. All things shall be right in the world again. Concord here I come. 

7. Boone weather confuses me most days.

It was about 30 yesterday, and snowed in the morning. 

Its currently 54 and feels like spring. 

I just want to go lay in my hammock why must I have homework!?!
